Hello! I am a post-bacc pre-vet student. I have about 1.5 more years to gain experience before I apply. I grew up showing horses around the country and have gained a little over 500 hours shadowing equine vets in the past 8 months. I also have about 150 hours volunteering in animal rescues and fostering sick dogs.Specifically any fundraisers that have worked well in the context of vet school and vet students, but suggestions from all are welcome. Here's the back story. Our school has a multitude of fund raising events each year. While some are for various causes, most are put on by a particular class to raise money for said class.Australian students who apply to the Veterinary Science course here are required to do at least one pre-vet year, making many of them 19 years old when they are first years.
